Defence Media has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials certification, reinforcing the company’s commitment to cyber security and good digital governance.

Backed by the UK Government and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Cyber Essentials provides a recognised framework for protecting organisations against common cyber threats and ensuring key controls are in place across devices, systems and cloud services.

As part of efforts to strengthen its cyber defences, Defence Media has also become a member of the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre, a police-led partnership that helps organisations improve cyber resilience through guidance, training and access to specialist support.

Grant Turnbull, Director, Strategic Programmes, Defence Media, said: “Many of the organisations we support operate in highly regulated and security-conscious sectors. Achieving Cyber Essentials and joining the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre reflects our commitment to maintaining strong cyber hygiene and continually improving the way we protect our systems, our business and our clients’ information.”

The latest milestone forms part of Defence Media’s wider focus on strengthening governance, improving operational resilience and ensuring the company continues to meet the expectations of customers and partners across the defence and aerospace sectors.
